UNIT 4. GIRAFFE´S STORY
• First year of the second cycle of nursery.
• Didactic unit composed by seven sessions, including a tale and activities related.
• TPR, Greeting, Good bye songs.
EVALUATION.
• Children go to your desk and put on their individual folder a sticker on the box of the different unit wich we hace been working
• The teacher looks to see if children put the sticker properly.
• This stickers will be green, yellow or red.
SESSION 1 LEARNING OUTCOMES:
▪ To familiarize with words (ears, eyes, neck,
feet).▪ To recognize different
parts.
LEARNING OBJETIVES:
▪ To know and represent the body.
▪To differentiate some parts of the body.
RESOURCES:•SONG - DOLL CAROLShow me your eyes...Eyes!Show me your ears...Ears! Show me your neck...Neck!Show me your feet...Feet!Eyes, ears, neck, feet.
ACTIVITIES:1. Present Carol.
2. Say parts of the body.3. Repeat parts of the body

SESSION 2
• LEARNING OBJETIVES
• To understand the message of oral texts in
accessible and meaningful language for students of
this age English, related to their experiences and
interests.
• To take part orally in easy and normal situations
• LEARNING OUTCOMES:
• Children must understand what we say.
• Review and learn concepts.• The children will be able to
speak in English.• Increase your vocabulary
in English
RESOURCES:
- Drawings of animals
OUTLINE OF LEADING ACTIVITIES
- Presents one by one the animals.- Explain their characteristics and repeat
these characteristics a lot of times.- The next activity tries that the children
remember the previous characteristics. - Teacher asks children about the animals.

SESSION 4LEARNING OBJETIVES:
▪To show interest in significant facts, identifying
their possible consequences.▪To reach a compliant and
positive self-image and value the differences positively.

2. Analize the ilustrations of the book.

• LEARNING OBJETIVES
• To acquire autonomy in their daily astivities.
• To interact with the others, acquire the basic guidelines os
coexistence and social relations.• To develop comunicate skills
• LEARNING OBJETIVES• The children will remember the main characteristics about the tales.• The children will learn how to function in public ond how to solve our questions.
ACTIVITIES:1. Questions about the story.
2. Brief reminder about characters.
3. Questions about the characters.
RESOURCES:
- The questions.
SESSION 6LEARNING OBJETIVES:
• To learn the order of tales, differentiating each sequence.
• To know that every story has a beginning, a middle and an end.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
• The children will learn the order on which events take place.
• The children will learn how to order the images of a story.
RESOURCES: The cards.
1. Giraffe is very sad.2. Elephant and Skippy ask Giraffe.3. Monkey asks Giraffe.4. Giraffe is very happy.
ACTIVITIES:• Show the cards in the correct
order and say the short sentence on each one.
• Disorder the cards.• Hide the cards at our backs to
disorder them.• Ask for volunteers. Put he cards
on the floor out of order and see if the children have learnt the order and if the remember the sentences.

• To contribute to the physical, emotional, social and intellectual
development of children.•To acquire autonomy in their daily
activities.•To develop communication skills in

Children have a mask of the main characters and they put
in order story’s scenes.
