BACKGROUND
Grazoprevir (MK-5172): NS3/4A protease inhibitor
Elbasvir (MK-8742): NS5A inhibitor

treatment naïve non-cirrhotic patients with GT1 infection

PHARMACOKINETICS OF CO-ADMINISTERED
GRAZOPREVIR AND ELBASVIR IN VOLUNTEERS
WITH ESRD ON HEMODIALYSIS OR PREDIALYSIS

QUALITY OF LIFE
• When compared to IFN and RBV-containing regimens, HRQOL
was not negatively impacted during treatment with grazoprevir
+ elbasvir
• In contrast, HRQOL was greatly reduced during treatment with
the IFN/RBV-containing regimen; this was most likely
associated with the adverse event profile of IFN/RBV
