manglares , presentes en la Provincia de Sechura , distrito de Vice fueron declarados áreas de Conservación Municipal el 29/12/2000 por Res. n° 094-2000 y el 06/08/2003 Santuario de Conservación Regional. En el año 2008 es reconocido mundialmente como Sitio RAMSAR.
