PRIMERA SEMANA
Desde el día 09 de noviembre Hasta el día 13 de noviembre
Future: (Be) Going To
We use (be) going to to talk about future plans and intentions in a more informal way. Usually
the
decision about the future plans has already been made:
For example: She’s going to be a professional dancer when she grows up.
I’m going to look for a new place to live next month.
(Utilizamos (be) going to para hablar sobre planes a futuro e intenciones en un contexto más
informal. Por lo general, la decisión del plan a futuro ya se ha tomado:
1
Por ejemplo: Ella va a ser una bailarina profesional cuando crezca (ella ya tomó la decisión).
Voy a buscar un nuevo lugar para vivir el próximo mes (ya lo decidí).
Always pay attention to the subject and correct form of verb to be before going to (am – is –
are).
For example: I’m going to visit my parents tomorrow. (form of to be: am)
Peter is going to have some coffee with Lucy. (form of verb to be: is)
We are going to have a party tonight. (form of verb to be: are)

SEGUNDA SEMANA
Desde el día 16 de noviembre Hasta el día 20 de noviembre
Superlatives: -est / most (Superlativos: -est / most)
We use a superlative to say that a thing or person is the most of a group. When we use a superlative
adjective ('the tallest student') before the noun, we generally use it with 'the'. This is because there's only
one (or one group) of the thing we are talking about. We also pay attention to the numbers of syllables
included in the word.
For example: She is the tallest student in this school. (Ella es la estudiante más alta de la escuela)
David is the most intelligent boy here. (David es el chico más inteligente de aquí)
(Utilizamos superlativos para indicar que una persona o cosa es superior dentro de un mismo grupo.
Utilizamos un adjetivo superlativo antes del sustantivo, generalmente con el artículo 'the'. Esto sucede
porque hay un único objeto o persona de la cual estamos hablando. También, debemos poner atención al
número de sílabas incluidas en una palabra).
Here, we also have irregular superlatives (Acá también temenos superlativos irregulares:
good – the best bad – the worst
Activity 1: Read the sentences below (worksheet) and complete the chart applying comparatives. You might
need dictionary. Follow the example. (Leer las oraciones de abajo -hoja de trabajo- y completar recuadro
aplicando comparativos. Podría necesitar diccionario. Siga el ejemplo).
1) I am the tallest person in my family. 2) ____________________________
