INTRODUCTION
During my studies I had the opportunity to have some experiences workshops, among which one in Ethiopia and a global summer school at IaaC in Barcelona, which had a particular influen-ce on my formation. They gave me the chance to project and learn new techniques and under-stand how applied research in international organizations is carried on despite many difficulties.
In Barcelona I attended a Global Summer School about productive cities which get advantage of both energy and food. Thanks to the Smart Citizen™ pilot project developed in the analytical phase and the use of tools such as Arduino™, CNC milling machine, lasercutters and 3D printers for the prototyping phases, I applied avantgard projecting tecniques, like parametric architecture and complex geometries.
I also widened my knowledge of green architecture and renewable materials issues, a topic I am getting more and more interested in, focusing my attention on social housing and parasite architecture.
I recently graduated with a parametric architecture thesis, “Make it informal”, which aimed
to introduce robots and do-it-yourself building techniques in the suburbs of Barcellona: my
project considered a periphery area as one with high potential to build a Fablab, but also
revolutionise and elevate the way of living and way of working of its citizens.
Thanks to my familiarity with CAD, BIM, render and graphic sofware I improved my analytical and design skills.
